Miss Reid was born in Cleburn County, Ala., August 10, 1911. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Gus Reid and Laura Wilson Reid. She was a member of the Cane Creek Methodist Church.
Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. John Barclay, Douglasville, Mrs. Weldon Bryant, Cedartown, and Ms. John Jennings, Lindale, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today from the Henderson-Frazier Chapel with the Rev. Gene Collum officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
