Owen H. Warner, 71, died at the Grand Rapids Osteopathic hospital Tuesday evening. A Grant Center farmer, he had retired several years ago and moved to Big Rapids.
He was born July 4, 1892 at Vicksburg and came to the Grant Center area as a young man.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Fredericks, Grand Rapids, and Mrs. Hubert Everitt, Big Rapids; three sons, Victor, Big Rapids; Virtue, Grand Rapids; and Darcy, Indiana; one sister, Mrs. Thomas Allen, Oregon; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Friday at Rogers funeral home, Walter Foster officiating. Burial will be in Highland View cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home until time of services.
