Leesville - Services for Wakefield Risinger Swygert, 90, will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cedar Grove Lutheran Church with the Rev. Gary Brandenburg and the Rev. Kathleen Panning officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Barr-Price Funeral Home, Historic B-L Chapel. Memorials may be made to Cedar Grove Lutheran Church, 1220 Cedar Grove Road, Leesville, SC 29070. Mrs. Swygert died Monday. Born in Leesville, a daughter of the late Olin D. and Quilla Oswald Risinger, she was a homemaker, a member of Cedar Grove Lutheran Church, Eastern Star Circle Chapter, and a Past Worthy Matron. Surviving are sons, Fred R. Swygert, Sr. of Leesville, Jerry W. Carswell of Lexington, Fred M. "Pat" Carswell of West Columbia; sister, Peggy Boyce of Simpsonville; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband, Gurney O.
