Graveside services were scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 10, at Tonkawa I.O.O.F. Cemetery. The Rev. Jim Edmison officiated. Arrangements were under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home of Enid.
Evelyn was born May 13, 1927, in Tonkawa to Arthur J. and Nina Wilson McDaniel. She was a graduate of the Business College of Wichita, Kan.
She married Spencer P. Jemison Jr. on April 5, 1947, in Caldwell, Kan. She worked at First National Bank of Enid for over 30 years and served as a bank officer. Evelyn was the first woman to ever become vice president at the bank.
She attended First United Methodist Church in Tonkawa.
She is survived by her husband, Spencer of the home; sons, Larry Jemison of Hot Springs Village, Ark., and James Jemison of Huntsville, Texas; one granddaughter; and two great-grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Betty Burns, Jamie Harris and Donna Fath.
