The graveside service for Evelyn M Jemison will be Friday, December 10, 2010 at 2:00 pm at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Tonkawa, OK. Rev Jim Edmison will officiate.

Evelyn was born May 13, 1927 in Tonkawa, OK to Arthur J and Nina (Wilson) McDaniel and died December 9, 2010 at the Methodist Home in Enid, OK. She was a graduate The Business College of Wichita, KS.

She married Spencer P Jemison, Jr on April 5, 1947 in Caldwell, KS. She worked at First National Bank, Enid, OK for over 30 years and served as a bank officer. She was the first ever woman to be Vice President at the bank. She attended First United Methodist Church in Tonkawa, OK.

She is survived by her husband, Spencer of the home, sons, Larry Jemison and wife Connie of Hot Springs Village, AR and James Jemison and wife Kathy of Huntsville, TX; granddaughter, Rashelle Wimberly and husband Billy of Houston, TX and great grandsons, Will and Conner.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Betty Burns, Jamie Harris and Donna Fath.
