Glenwood Fisher, 66, of Columbia, Missouri, died Sunday at Harry S Truman VA Hospital in Columbia.
He was born in Callaway County to George and Hattie Gallager Fisher in 1901. He lived most of his life in Pontiac, Michagan.
He joined the Army as a Private and fought in WW11.
He is survived by one daughter, Glenda Jo May; his mother, Hattie Fisher of Fulton, Missouri; one brother Garwood Fisher of New Jersey and a sister Betty Fisher Wheeler of Fulton, Missouri and five grandchildren.
He was preceeded in death by his father.
Services will be at 2PM, Wednesday at Browning Funeral Home in Fulton, Missouri with Reverand Fred Pulliam officiating. Visitation will be from 7pm to 9pm tonight. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetary.
Pall Bearers: Harrison Martin Sr, Lewis Martin, Billy Sulgrave, Jimmy Means, Edgar Mottaz and Waldo Mottaz.
