Mr. Fisher was born March 11, 1885, in Calwood, Missouri, a son of Charles Henry and Martha Jane (Boggess) Fisher. He was the Grandson of Albert (Alfred) and Sithi (Dawson) Fisher, pioneers from Kentucky who settled in the Calwood and Nine Mile Prairie areas in Missouri in the early 1800's.

On March 23, 1908, in Callaway County, he was married to Hattie Lillian Galliger, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Glenwood Fisher of Fulton, Missouri and Garwood Fisher of Cherry Hill, New Jersey; a daughter, Mrs. Jack (Betty) Wheeler of Fulton, Missouri; five grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Della Colter and Mrs. Ella Dunn both of Fulton, Missouri and Mrs. Gertie Schenzing of Akron, Ohio; numerous, Aunts, Uncles and cousins.

George was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Annie Fisher Fletcher and brother, Willis Wheeler Fisher.

George William Fisher, 82 years, 3 months and 23 days old, of 907 Jefferson Street, Fulton, Missouri, died on December 12, 1967 at his home.

Dr. George W. Groce of Fulton, pronounced death caused by Acute Myocardial Infection, death was immediate. Informant was Mrs. George W. Fisher, spouse of the deceased.

George was born March 11, 1885, in Calwood, Missouri, the son of Charles Henry and Martha Jane (Boggess) Fisher, both born in Callaway County. He was united in marriage to Hattie Lillian (Gallager)Fisher and she survives him. Mr. Fisher was a painter.

Arrangements were under the care of Browning Funeral Home in Fulton. Interment was in Hillcrest Cemetery.
