Ilo Elillian (Thompson) Engen, 89, of Patterson died Wednesday at Brandel Manor Conv. Hospital in Turlock.
Mrs. Engen was a native of Beltrami, Minnesota and had lived in Patterson for 79 years. She was a Home maker. She was a member and active volunteer at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Patterson. She was also a member of the Sons of Norway and volunteered as a cook at Del Puerto Hospital. She was a 1932 graduate of Patterson High School.
She is survived by her sons, Henry Engen of Merced and Norman Engen of Gustine; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Erling Engen, 1983 and one grandchild.
The Memorial Service will be at 9:00 a.m., Saturday, July 26th at Hillview Funeral Chapel in Patterson.
