Mr. Duke died Sunday at Caldwell Parish Hospital apparently of a heart attack.
A veteran of World War II, he was a merchant.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Eva Duke of Columbia; two sisters, Mrs. Era Bass of Pollock and Mrs. Etta Luffey of Monroe; five brothers, Earl Duke of Columbia, D. C. Duke of Prairie Road, S. M. Duke of Olla, Leon Duke of West Monroe, and Dalco Duke of Anaheim, Calif.
