Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Sunday for Earl Duke, 69, of Riverton. The Rev. Milton Sargent officiated in the chapel of Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia.

Burial was in Welcome Home Cemetery at Grayson.

Mr. Duke died Friday at his residence after suffering an apparent heart attack.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Myrtle Prince Duke of Riverton; a daughter, Mrs. Earline LaFont of Franklington; a son, O. J. Baldwin of Monroe; four brothers, D. C. Duke of Monroe, Leon Duke of West Monroe, Myers Duke of Olla and Dalco Duke of Hawaii; two sisters, Mrs. Era Bass of Pollock and Mrs. Etta Luffeey of Monroe; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers were Tom Watts, E. L. Graham, Billy Long, U. M. Youngblood, Lelon Kenney and W. Grady Smith.
