SALT LAKE CITY - Joseph H. Burton, 64, died Monday morning at his home, following a 10-year illness.
Mr. Burton was born Dec. 19, 1882, in Marriott, Weber county, a son of James W. and Eliza Hooper Burton. He married Bessie L. Smith. Surviving are his widow and three sons; Joseph W., Russell Dale and Charles Ray Burton, Salt Lake City; two stepdaughters and one stepson, Mrs. Robert Stewart, and Mrs. Ralph Garner, Salt Lake City; William R. Carleton, American Fork, and a brother and a sister, Mrs. George A. Moulding and Jesse G. Burton, Ogden; also three grandchildren.
Burial will be in Ogden City Cemetery.
