Kim D. Boren-Dowdy, 42, of Princeton, died Monday, May 21, 2007, at 7:05 a.m. at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn., following a long illness.

A retired nurse at the VA Hospital, she was born Nov. 19, 1964, in Decatur, Ill., a daughter of Charles O. Boren and Suzanne Cunningham Boren, both of Caldwell County.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Guy and Louise Lowery Cunningham; a great-aunt, Mary Belle Harrison; and maternal great-grandparents, M.S. and Mae Mott Lowery.

Survivors in addition to her parents include her husband, Donnie Dowdy of Hardin; two sons, Anthony Klueg and Carl Josephy Klueg, both of Hardin; a grandson, Kenneth Anthony Klueg; and four stepsons, Shaun Dowdy and Jeremy Dowdy, both of Mayfield, Shane Dowdy of Louisville and Josh Dowdy of Murray.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation.
