Funeral services for Mrs. Will Douglas, 84, who died in her home at midnight Wednesday, will be held at the First Methodist Church, Friday at 2 p.m.
Mrs. Douglas who lived at 211 Root Street, had suffered from ill health for the past four years. She was born in Fayette, Tex. Jan. 20, 1875 and moved to Killeen when she was eight years old.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1937.
Burial will be in the Killeen cemetery. Rev. Robert Lindsey, pastor of Saint Andrews Methodist Church, will conduct the services.
Mrs. Douglas is survived by one brother, T.H. Heyman of Killeen; four daughters, Mrs. Lou Aclin and Mrs. Lola Chandler, both of Temple, Mrs. Maybelle Norman of Houston and Mrs. Myrtle Springer of Killeen; five sons, Roy Douglas of Dallas, Wilburn Douglas of Belton, Elbert Douglas, Albert Douglas and Johnnie Douglas all of Killeen.
Pallbearers will be John Springer, R.Q. Bay, Lawrence Farris, Harlin Sutton, Claude Levy, Curtiss Levy, Hugh Reding and Buck Swope.
