Word was received here Wednesday of the death at 2am in Detroit of heart disease, after a lingering illness, Mrs Henrietta DeGarmo, aged 69 years. Funeral services will be held at the Detroit home, Thursday evening. Arriving here at 6:49 am Friday, the cortege will leave the home of the deceased's brother A A Flegal, Maple avenue for burial in the Presbyterian church cemetery at Norwich.
Mrs Degarmo will be recalled as the widow of Rolland Degarmo, Baltimore and Ohio Railway locomotive engineer, killed at Mt. Vernon over 40 years ago. Mrs Degarmo will be buried besides her husband's grave at Norwich.
Besides one daughter, Mrs Richard Everett of Detroit, two brothers survive, A A Flegal of Maple avenue and R T Flegal of Mead street.
