Obituary:
Services for Bee Hyatt, 92, of Heflin were held June 5 at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Horace Merrill officiating.
Burial followed in the Hurricane Methodist Cemetery. Dryden Funeral Home was in charge of the services.
Mr. Hyatt died June 3 at Cleburne County Nursing Home.
He was born Feb. 15, 1911, in Heard County, Ga. Mr. Hyatt had been a resident of Cleburne County for most of his life. He was a retired guard and a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church since 1941.
Survivors include his wife, Willie Hyatt of Heflin; five daughters, Ruby Jones, Rachel Bell, both of Heflin, Joyce Robinson of Bowdon, Ga., Diane Kent and Donna Champion, both of Anniston; a son, Ralph Hyatt of Heflin; a sister, Lonie Howle of Heflin; 15 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Michael Bell, Shane Champion, Roger Henry, Mark Hyatt, Chris Kent and Chuck Robinson.
