Funeral services for Mrs. Lonie H. Howle (Mama Howle), age 92, of Heflin will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 19, 2006 at Cedar Creek Baptist Church with Bro. Horace Merrill, John D. Collins, and Ralph Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Hurricane United Methodist Cemetery with Dryden Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Howle died Saturday, September 16, 2006 at Stringfellow Hospital.
Survivors include a daughter, Moline H. Cotten, of Heflin; two grandchildren, Harold Scott Blanton, and Sonja Blanton Cook, both of Heflin; a great-granddaughter, Amy L. Harrell, of Albertville; and two great-great grandchildren, Ian M. and Izac B. Harrell, of Albertville; and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be friends and family. Mrs. Howle was a life long member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church. Visitation will be this evening from 6 to 8 at Dryden Funeral Home in Heflin.
