Final Rites For Sgt. Fielder, Friday
The body of Sgt. A. C. Fielder will arrive today, Thursday at 3 p. m. Funeral services will be held at Pleasant Hill Church Friday at 1 p. m.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Fielder, Boaz Rt. 3; three brothers, D. B., Corby and Ollie Fielder, Boaz Rt. 3.
Sgt. Fielder volunteered for the Marines in 1941. He was killed in action on New Britain Island on March 6, 1944. He served overseas almost three years.
