"Freedom is not Free"

I am honored to create memorials for our WWII, Korean, and Vietnam war dead.

In May 2017 I completed a 4 year project creating virtual cemeteries for all American Ground Forces casualties during WWII. Obtaining Army and Marine Corps divisional casualty rosters from the National Archives, WWII unit histories and resources found on line I have searched over 100,000 names on Find A Grave creating about 15,000 memorials. I have viewed the names of virtually every Soldier or Marine that was a ground combat casualty during WWII.

65 Infantry Divisions
16 Armored Divisions
4 Airborne Divisions
1 Cavalry Division
1 Mountain Division
6 Marine Divisions

Fleet Admiral Chester W. Nimitz:
"They fought together as brothers in arms; they died together and now they sleep side by side...To them, we have a solemn obligation — the obligation to ensure that their sacrifice will help make this a better and safer world in which to live."

In 2013 I completed a five year project traveling to Hawaii annually from the mainland to photograph headstones for all of our WW2 dead at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific (Punchbowl) in Honolulu. I have added over 10,000 photos to memorials at the cemetery. Prior to 2008, few of the memorials had a headstone photo.
