Betty Willard of Gravel Switch died on June 21, 1961 at Kentucky State Hospital in Danville. Ill several months with diabetes, she had been hospitalized only a week. She was 67. A Marion County native, she was a daughter of James and Celia Roller. Surviving are her husband, Al, of the home; two daughters, Lucy Roller of Gravel Switch and Margie Getz of Cocoa, Florida; a sister, Sarah Willard of Gravel Switch; two half sisters, Lettie Burkett of Riley and Lottie Miller of Mauckport, Indiana; four half brothers, George Roller, J. R. Roller, Roy Roller, and Welby Roller, all of Louisville; and five grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted last Friday at Gravel Switch Methodist Church by Rev. David Finch. Interment was in Roller Cemetery. Bosley Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
