Mrs. Ed. Hittle Obituary

Elizabeth Jane McFall, daughter of Charles and Catherine McFall was born June 18, 1883 in Mahaska County, Iowa near the town of Given.
She moved to Monroe county with her parents in 1894.
She was united in marriage to R. E. Hittle, May 1, 1901 and to this union three children were born, Gilbert Hittle of Ottumwa, Mrs. Vera Morris of New Sharon and Clarence Edward, who preceded her in death, August 9, 1931.
She united with the Church of Christ, May 20, 1917 and remained a faithful follower of her Master until called to her long home.
She departed this life Jan. 5, 1949 after several weeks of illness at the age of 65 years, 6 months and 19 days.
She leaves to mourn her loss, his husband R. E. Hittle, son Gilbert and daughter Veva and two grandchildren; Inda Kay and Terry Gilbert Hittle, two brothers, Frank McFall of Bussey and Fred McFall of Lovilia, besides a number of dear relatives and a great host of friends.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Zimmerman funeral chapel, conducted by the Rev. W.F.T. Evans of Centerville a former pastor of the Lovilia Christian church.
Burial was made in the Lovilia cemetery.
