C. H. Crosby died at St. Elizabeth hospital yesterday morning. His death was caused by tumor of the brain. The disease developed about a year ago and he was prostrated in Chicago before being brought to this city. He was brought to the hospital on April 4. The deceased was 43 years old and had resided at different times in Colfax and Battle Ground. He and his wife had given up housekeeping at Battle Ground and were on their way to Illinois at the time that Mr. Crosby was taken sick in Chicago. The remains were removed to Folckemer's undertaking parlors and the funeral will be conducted to-morrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Stockwell Methodist church. Interment in Conroe cemetery.
