William Allie Wilson, 76, formerly of Morehead, died Monday, February 25, at his residence in Montgomery City, Mo., after suffering an apparent heart attack.

Mr. Wilson was a native of Rowan County, and the son of the late Dr. Jeremiah and Virginia Crawford Wilson Johnson.

He was a former Mayor of Montgomery City and owned a black Angus cattle ranch there.

Mr. Wilson was also a realtor and a retired civil engineer and surveyor for General Refractories.

He was the brother of the late Cora Wilson Stewart, founder of the moonlight schools.

He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Virginia Hurt Williams, and a brother, Marvin Wilson, both of Morehead.

Services were conducted Thursday, February 28, at the Northcutt and Son Home for Funerals Chapel with the Rev. Ted Greene officiating. Burial was in the Pine Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Paul Blair, Dr. Donald Blair, Woodford Black, Joe Tolliver, Paul J. Reynolds, Raymond Markwell, Robert Day, Roy Cornette, Eldon Evans, Robert Bishop, Ezra J. Caudill and Bob Anglin.
