Jack Chastain, age 63, went home to be with our Lord, Thursday, November 11, 2010.

He was born in Monroe County, Tennessee on May 18, 1947 and lived in the Maryville area. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Grace Chastain; sisters, Emma "Dib" Newman and Ruby Chastain.

Jack is survived by his wife of 26 years, Loretta Chastain; children, Penny Denise Axton of Maryville, William "Bill" Jack Chastain of Monroe, Ohio, Tina Louise Garland of Maryville, JoAnn Lynn Hudgens of Greenback; and 11 grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Caleb Chastain of Munster, Indiana, Don Chastain of Philadelphia, Tennessee, Claude Chastain and Joe Chastain of Maryville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 PM Sunday, November 14, 2010 at Miller Funeral Home, Magnolia Chapel, with Rev. Steve Hickman officiating. The interment service will be held at 10:00 AM Monday at Sherwood Memorial Garden.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
