Survivors include; children, Caleb and wife, Marge Chastain of Munster, Indiana, Ruby Chastain of Maryville, Tennessee, Jack and wife, Loretta Chastain of Maryville, Tennessee, Don Chastain of Maryville, Tennessee, Claude, Jr. and wife, Mary Chastain of Maryville, Tennessee; Joe Chastain of Maryville, Tennessee; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brother, Blake Chastain of Maryville, Tennessee; sisters, Mertice Poe of Maryville, Tennessee, Nell Teffeteller of Maryville, Tennessee, Sue Stinnett of Hammond, Indiana.
