ANTONIDES – Albert Antonides, aged 57, of Alpine passed away Thursday [28 Jul 1936] in Saint Mary's hospital. Surviving are the widow, Lena; two sons, Floyd of Detroit and Louis of Muskegon; three daughters, Mrs. Ella Frosh and Mrs. Edina Vanderberg of Grand Rapids and Mrs. Leona Weaver of Muskegon; ten grandchildren, two brothers, Louis of Grand Rapids and Frank of Lowell; two sisters, Mrs. Mary VanWezel of Grand Rapids and Mrs. Anna Slager of Ada, and his mother, Mrs. Alice Antonides of Grand Rapids. Funeral services will be held Monday [3 Aug 1936] afternoon at 1:30 at the residence and at 2:30 at the Fourth Reformed church of Grand Rapids with interment in Fairplains cemetery. Arrangements by George W. Bettew, Sparta.

Immigration documentation states that his parents and family left Rotterdam, Netherlands and arrived in New York, USA on 22 Aug 1881. Census documentation from three different time periods also indicates he was born in the Netherlands.
