February 2nd, 1876, at his residence, about 2 miles northwest of Timberville, after a protracted illness of consumption, Moses Bowman in the 84th year of his age.
Mr. Bowman was a consistent member of the Lutheran Church, having been a deacon in that Church for over thirty years.
He was a most estimable citizen and was universally esteemed by all who knew him.
