Died, Monday morning, October 19th of heart failure, Mr. B. A. Hammett of this city. The deceased has been in ill health for some time past but was not considered serious. Sunday night he complained of feeling bad and the following morning he arose and went to the barn to do his usual morning work. His long absence attracted the attention of his brother who visited the barn and found him lying between the horses unconscious. He was taken to the house as soon as possible and expired in a short time. The funeral services were held at his residence Wednesday at 10 o'clock A.M. conducted by Rev. Howell of the Presbyterian church after which the remains were interred in the Marysville cemetery. The bereaved family have the sympathy of the entire community.
