Mr Edward Marlowe was buried at St Stephens Church Sunday afternoon at half past two o'clock. The funeral services were conducted by Rev A L Crouse.
Deceased had been taken to the hospital at Salisbury where an operation had been performed for appendicitis, but the operation did not prove beneficial and he died there and was brought home Saturday.
He was a young man and had not been married quite a year. He had married Miss Essie Bolick. He leaves a wife, father, two brothers and three sisters.
