Darlene married Donald J. Stromer on June 25,1950 at the Hanover Presbyterian Church. For fifteen years, she was a clerk at J.C. Penney's and seventeen years a Coordinator of Services for the Adams County Senior Services, retiring in 1991. She volunteered as a pink lady at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Stromer was a life long area resident and a member of the Second Presbyterian Church, the Women's Association and the American Legion Auxiliary in Glenvil.
Darlen was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, one sister and a great grandchild.
