Rogerio Almeida, 24, died Wednesday, in Alice.
A Brownsville native and resident, he was a veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Emma Almeida; a daughter, Myra Almeida; a son, Rogerio Almeida Jr.; his mother, Consuelo Almeida; a brother, Jose Almeida; five sisters, Carmela Reyes, Esperanza Sanchez, Gloria Hernandez, Maria Almeida, all of Brownsville and Yolanda Torres of California and paternal grandmother, Mrs. Clemencia Martinez of Brownsville.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3 PM at our lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with father Ortiz officiating with interment in City Cemetery. Trevino Funeral Home, 13th E. Harrison St. is in charge of arrangements.
