The body of Mrs. Elvira Studebaker who died Tuesday, morning at the home of her daughter. Mrs. Fred Kohl, in Waterloo, was brought to Traer yesterday for burial in Buckingham cemetery. Mrs. Studebaker, formerly of north Tama, was 77 years old. She was born March 6, 1850, at Downers Grove, Illinois and was married there to Frank Studebaker, who with a daughter, Mrs. Alice Grover, preceded her in death. Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Fred Kohl and Mrs. W. W. West, Waterloo; Mrs. George Lynn, Mrs. H. G. Rogers and Mrs. Will Mehle, all of Des Moines; Jas. Studebaker, Austin, Minnesota; Will Studebaker, Brandon, Iowa, and Grover Studebaker, Davenport. Mrs. West's husband is a brother of R. A. West, of Geneseo township.
