home in Grass Creek yesterday, as
a result of a general break down.
He was a civil war veteran, having
served in company K, of the
17th Ohio volunteer infantry and
was a member of the G. A. R. post
at Kewanna. He settled in Fulton
county in 1866 and has lived there
ever since.
He leaves to mourn his death
five sons, J, Frank and Harley B.
of Rochester; Oliver M. of this city,
and Edward and Roy of Grass
Creek; four daughters, Miss May
Kumler and Mrs. A. J. Murray of
Grass Creek; Mrs. P. H. Phillips of
Bourbon, and Mrs. Earl Heinburger
of Reynolds. He is also survived
by twenty-nine grandchildren
and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held in
the Grass Creek U. B. church Friday
afternoon at 2:30. Burial will
be made in the Grass Creek cemetery.
