EARNEST CONNER

Earnest Earl Conner was born in Bethlehem, Iowa on June 29, 1888 and departed this life on Dec. 11, 1963 at the O'Donnell Nursing Home in Chariton at 75 years of age. He was the son of John and Laura Conner.

He was united in marriage to Elsie Bell Triplett in 1930 and to this union two children were born, a son, Earnest Jr., of Des Moines and a daughter, Ruth Baker, of Chariton.

By a previous marriage there were born four sons and two daughters: William of Sioux City, Marion, Neil and Mary Sparks, all of Des Moines and Flossie, who preceded him in death at the age of 6 and a son, Virgil, who died at the age of 2.

Preceding him in death were his parents, his first wife, a brother, William Conner and a sister, Floy Goater.

Mr. Conner spent most of his life in Chariton as a truck operator. He accepted the Lord as his Savior in 1962.

Left to mourn his passing besides his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren are a sister, Goldie Tatman and a brother-in-law, Clarence Tatman.
