Mrs. Carrie B. King, 89, a former resident of Westminster, died Thursday (May 2, 1974) in Frederick.
She was a native of Carroll County, the daughter of Henry M. Koontz and Maria Bair Koontz.
She was a member of the Frizzellsburg Church of God and the Taney Rebekah Lodge. Her husband William M. King died in June 1969. Her only survivors are nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Saturday at Myers-Pritts Funeral Home, Westminster. Her pastor, the Rev. R. Dennis Tinkler and the Rev. F.P. Brose officiated and burial was in Meadow Branch Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Arthur Warman, Dennis J. Myers, Johnny V. Weller, Theron A. Myers, Howard E. Carr and Kenneth R. Stonesifer.
