MRS. MARY GILMER EXPIRES ON COAST
Mrs. Mary E. Gilmer, an early resident of Salt Lake, died at her home in Los Angeles Tuesday. She had resided there for the past few years.
Mrs. Gilmer was an early resident of Salt Lake and was the wife of J. T. Gilmer of the Gilmer-Salisbury company, pioneer in the stage and mining business. She was 79 years of age and the mother of 11 children, five of whom survive. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held in Los Angeles today, and the body will be brought to Salt Lake, where it will be placed in the family vault in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
When Mrs. Gilmer left for the coast the beautiful grounds surrounding her home in the eastern section of the city became Gilmer Park.
