Clarence B. Friend, 71, Klamath Falls, died in Medford on Thursday.
He was born in Missouri to William H. and Margaret Nodine Friend.
In 1932 Mr. Friend married Clausie Moore and in 1936 they moved to Klamath Falls. He was affiliated with the lumber industry until his 1970 retirement.
Survivors include his widow, Clausie, Klamath Falls; daughter, Sharon Wesley, Puyallup, Wash.; son, Louis Blaine Friend, North Bend; brothers, Wilbur and Phynas Friend, both Klamath Falls, and Troy Friend, Spring Hill, Kan.; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.
