Charles J. Doom, 74, of Warren, Mich., died Feb. 14, 2008. Doom was a native of Crittenden County. A Korean Conflict Army Veteran, he was owner of Prototype Tooling and Manufacturing, Inc., in Fraser, Mich., for 25 years.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Doom; his brother, Rayburn Doom; a sister, Mary Guess; and his parents, Francis Marion and Addie Lee Duncan Doom.
He is survived by his wife, Barbra Grimes Duncan; two sons, James and his wife, Brenda and Michael and his wife, Kris; two sisters, Lola Mae Patton and Juanita and her husband, J.T. Cobb; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Services were Monday, Feb. 18 at Bethesda Christian Church, at Sterling Heights, Mich., followed by burial at White Chapel Cemetery.
