Willie Lee Akins Parrish, 75, died Friday night at the Medical College of Georgia after a short illness. The Bulloch County native was a member of the Senior Citizens "Young at Heart" Club and a Brooklet First Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Sylvia P. Prosser, Brooklet, and Nancy P. Bacenas, Ontario; three sisters, Annie Lou Brooks, Garden City, Mary Frances Scarborough, LaGrange, and Betty A. Hart, Savannah; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be 4 p.m. Monday at Brooklet First Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Howard and Elder Shelton Mikell officiating. Burial will be in Brooklet City Cemetery. Hodges-Turner Funeral Home.
