Garden City - Annie Lou Brooks, 90, died May 6, 2005 at Hospice Savannah.

She was born March 14, 1915 in Bulloch County Georgia. She was a member of the Progressive Primitive Baptist Church in Savannah.

Mrs. Brooks was preceded in death in death by her husband, R. C. "Cecil" Brooks; three sisters, Mildred Sanders, Bill Parrish and Virginia Akins; two brother, J. W. Akins and Edwin Akins.

She is survived by three daughters, JoAnn Collins, Lynda and her husband, David Murphy and Loretta Brooks; a son, R.C. "Bobby" and his wife, Angie Brooks; grandchildren, Jeff and his wife, Jodi Bell and Bobby and his wife, Laurie Brooks; Cass and his wife, Tonya Murphy; great-grandchildren, Kristina Bell, Jacob Bell, Jessica Bell, Kyle Brooks, and Julia Brooks, Cassie Murphy, Will Murphy and Marlowe Riddle and two sisters, Frances Scarborough and Betty Hart and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday 6 to 8 p.m. at Massey-Framke Funeral Care.

Service will be Monday 10:00 a.m. at Massey-Framke Chapel with the Reverend Wayne Gibbs officiating. Burial will be at Forrest Lawn Cemetery.
