George Peck Rites Monday
Funeral services for George Peck, 52, who died Friday night, will be held Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Gay chapel. Rev. Roy O. HIlls, pastor of the First Methodist church, will officiate. Members of the local chapter Spanish American War Veterans of which deceased was a member will act as pallbearers.
Mr. Peck served the government in company 4, 44th U. S. Volunteer Infantry, during the war with Spain and the Philippine insurrection in 1898 and 1899 and was honorably discharged from this service. He was a member of Lt. Caspar Collins Camp No. 15, United Spanish War Veterans, department of Colorado and Wyoming. The services at the grave will be in charge of the officers of the local camp.
All Spanish War Veterans have been requested to attend these services at the Gay mortuary and the cemetery.
