Jule was the last child born to George W. Liddick and Frances P. Anderson. He married 1. Minnie Roof on 15 Sept 1909 and they had 7 kids; Ivan, George, Ernie, Russell, Ralph, Laverne and daughter Lucy. Ivan and George died in infancy. Sometime after 1925, Jule and Minnie divorced. He remarried to a gal named Corda K. Jones and Minnie re-married to Jules nephew, Walter Louie Liddick.

Obituaries- Jule J. Liddick, 71, 3012 Ninth Ave., a retired railroad contractor, died Tuesday at a local hospital. He had been ill for four years with heart trouble.
Mr. Liddick was born in Red Oak and had lived in Council Bluffs for 30 years. He had been in railroad construction for many years. He is survived by; widow, Corda; two daughters, Mrs. Velma Birdson of Council Bluffs and Mrs. Lucy Skelton of La Platte, Neb.; four sons, Ernie and Russell, both of Council Bluffs, Ralph of La Platte, Neb., and Lavern of Plattsmouth, Neb.; brother Frank, of Cromwell, Minn., sister, Mrs. Effie King of Davenport; two half-brothers, Clarence of Council Bluffs, and Herman of Wright, Minn.; and 18 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2pm Thursday at the Cutler Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Phillip Durham, pastor of the First Christian Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
