Survivors include his mother, Mary Northern of Waco; his wife, Kathleen Northern of Blooming Grove; four sons, Kenneth Northern of Dallas, Tommy Northern of Houston and Benny Northern of Honolulu, Hawaii; two daughters, Debbie Gant of Blooming Grove and Jan Atkinson of Lorena; four brothers, C. L. Northern of Brandon, Allen Northern of Waco, R. C. Northern of Walnut Springs, Mo., and Dan Northern of Cincinnati, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. George Carroll of Waco and Mrs. Frances Schrader of Avalon; and 12 grandchildren.
