She was employed by Modine Manufacturing and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jay Hugh Madison. Mrs. Madison is survived by three daughters, Kathy Madison of New Market, Janet Madison of Lexington, and Teresa Fitzgerald and husband, Vernon Fitzgerald, of Buena Vista. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, a brother and sister and two half-sisters.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 1, 1999, at Lomax Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Garvis Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow in Timber Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 8 P.M. at Lomax Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to Rockbridge Area Hospice.
