He was born March 3, 1933 in Logan, Kansas to Robert and Lola Earley Harper. He was preceded in death by his father, four siblings and one great-granddaughter. He married Carol Washburn. He then married Virginia Ekena Weyhrich in Trivoli on Oct. 15, 1993. She survives.
