Mrs. W. R. Buckmaster, for many years a well known resident of Decatur and mother of Mrs J. Foster Waltz, 454 Powers lane, died unexpectedly Tuesday noon at her home, 3664 Washington boulevard, St. Louis. She was sixty-eight years old. She had not been in good health for several months but her condition had not been considered critical.
Mrs. Buckmaster made many friends during her long residence in Decatur. Her husband was for many years connected with the Pacific Express company here. They moved to St. Louis twenty years or more ago.
Beside her husband she is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Waltz of Decatur, and her son, E. F. Buckmaster of Wilmette. She also leaves a sister, Mrs. W. B. Knight of Eldorado, Kan.
The body was brought to the Dawson & Wikoff chapel and the funeral will be held there at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon.
