A native of Polk County, she was the wife of Arnold H. Arledge, who died in 1956.
Survivng are three sons, Donald B. and Edward Hall Arledge of Mill Spring, Jack C. Arledge of Asheville; three daughters, Juanita Taylor of Asheville, Betty Jo Jackson and Patsy Williams of Mill Spring; a brother, Loftis Newman of Saluda; three sisters, Annie Lee Thompson of Saluda, Geneva Blythe of Pisgah Forest and Bleace Pace of SSaluda; 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Silver Creek Baptist Church where she was a member. The Revs. Chris Osborn, O. Lee Gregory and Harold Thompson will officiated. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Saturday at McFarland Funeral Chapel, where the body will remain until 30 minutes before the services.
