Funeral services for Theodore Laemmle, well known farmer of Enterprise Township, were held from Grace Luthern Church Wednesday, July 13, 1966. The rites were in charge of Pastor James Thvedt, with committal in the Sisseton Cemetery.

Theodore Laemmle, 58, was born in Long Lake, SD, son of David and Christina(Nees)Laemmle. He was married September 18, 1932 in McPherson County to Carrie Steffan.
Following their marriage they farmed in Walworth County for several years, moving to Roberts County in 1940, purchasing the farm in Enterprise Township. This remained their home until his death from a heart condition and complications at the Veblin Hospital on July 9, 1966. The afternoon of his death the Laemmle's held an auction sale of their farm. He had been released from the hospital for the time of the sale and was then returned for additional treatment.

Relatives were present from Eureka, Minneapolis, Aberdeen, Key West, FL; San Francisco and McLaughlin.

Pallbearers were Lyle Farmen, Bernard Rolstad, Earnest Nater, Rudolph Schlak, Raymond Bunde and Joe Christopherson.

Surviving are his widow Carrie, son James, Sisseton; daughter Inez (Dennis) Burdahl, Minneapolis; three brothers and three sisters; 6 grandchildren.
