MRS. NEALY BROWN PASSED AWAY SUNDAY

Following a continued illness due to a complication of diseases brought on by her advanced age, Mrs. Sarah Ann Brown, widow of the late Nealy Brown died yesterday morning at her home east of the city. She has been failing steadily in health for months and the end was not unexpected by the family and many friends of the deceassed.

Mrs. Brown was born in Wayne County Nov 25, 1843 and was the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Waymire. She was first married to Mr. Jarrett who died some years later and following his death she was married to Mr. Brown who also preceded her to the grave. She was the mother of seven children, the following surviving her: Schuyler Jarrett, Mrs. John D. Harting, Mrs. H. Greenlee of Missouri, Mrs. W. H. Revis of Tipton, Mrs. J.F. Moore of elkhart, Clarence Brown of Range Line. also by two brothers, Charles and Albert Waymire and one sister Mrs. Berry, New Castle. The deceased was a splendid woman and a life long Christian whose life was an inspiration to all who knew her.

The funeral services will be held at the Christian Church tomarrow afternoon, Rev. Whittkamper in charge and interment will follow in the city cemetery.
