Services for Mr. Huron Paul Scallan will be held at St. Paul Catholic Church, Mansura, on Saturday, June 12, 2004 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Charles Morgan officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Catholic Mausoleum, Mansura, under the direction of Escude Funeral Home, Mansura.
Mr. Scallan, age 80, of Mansura, died Tuesday, June 9, 2004 in Avoyelles Hospital, Marksville.
He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII and a member of the American Legion Mansura Post.
Mr. Scallan was preceded in death by his father, George Scallan; and mother, Florisca Ducote Scallan.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Rita Bolotte Scallan of Mansura; and son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Barbara Cox Scallan of Houston, Texas.
Visitation will be held at Escude Funeral Home, Mansura, on Friday, June 11, 2004 from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. Visitation will resume on Saturday from 8 a.m. until time of services.
