Gertrude A. Flagg, 83, formerly of 686 Mulberry St., died at 4:47 p.m. Friday, July 12, 1991, at Galesburg Cottage Hospital.
Born June 1, 1908, in Galesburg to Heman and Mary Carns Patterson, she married Larry C. Asher Sr. on Dec. 13, 1924, in Galesburg. She later married Earl Flagg on Nov. 27, 1935, in Galesburg. He died on Dec. 27, 1972. She also was preceded in death by one son, three brothers, two sisters and two stepbrothers.
She is survived by two sisters, Mildred Frakes and Ruth Watson, both of Galesburg, and one grandson, Larry C. Asher III of San Gabriel, Calif.
She was a member of the East Main Congregational Church in Galesburg.
Graveside services will be at Linwood Cemetery in Galesburg.
